Join Our Barn Community with a Membership!

Deepen your horsemanship skills at Myakka River Trail Rides! As a barn member, you’ll gain hands-on experience riding a variety of horses, assisting with daily barn tasks, and interacting with our guests. Your responsibilities include catching horses, bringing them into the barn, saddling, grooming, bathing, and accompanying trail rides. Informal guidance is provided for riding each horse, so you can grow your skills at your own pace.

Occasionally, we host a natural horsemanship trainer on weekends, giving you the perfect opportunity to learn techniques for working with young horses. Overall, this experience will prepare you well for a future in horsemanship, if that’s your goal.

This program is ideal for anyone who loves horses, enjoys teamwork, and has a great sense of humor. It’s also a wonderful way to step away from busy city life and spend quality time with these incredible animals.
